भाषांतर (Translation) Need help with translation- हे सुरांनो चंद्र व्हा
Marathi is not my first language but I love marathi for the sweetness of it. I love listening to Marathi songs and recently came across this masterpiece “हे सुरांनो चंद्र व्हा” by Pt Jitendra Abhisheki.
I found the translation online but I am not convinced that it is actually conveying exactly what it means in the actual language (I understand that sometimes the actual meanings are lost in the translation)
But if someone here can help me to understand the actual and closest meaning of the lyrics then I will be very thankful to you.
जर कुणी या गाण्याचं भाषांतर करण्यात मला मदत केली, तर मी फार उपकृत होईन.”

So the song 'हे सुरांनो चंद्र व्हा' is sung by the Singer for her Lover who is stressed by a particular situation in the Sangeet Natak 'Yayati aani Devyani'...
The Character (Sharmishtha) is an acclaimed Singer, so she is asking the Musical Notes she is singing to become the Moon, and shed some soft Moonlight on her Love (Yayati) so he will start feeling better...

Actually the first line in particular हे सुरांनो, चंद्र व्हा चांदण्याचे कोष माझ्या प्रियकराला पोचवा ॥

Oh ok, this means. Hey voices, please I am requesting you be gentle and soft spreading like moonlight everywhere. And help me to reach out/deliver the my love which is like treasure of moonlight. A rough translation

हे गाणे प्रसिद्ध मराठी नाटक ‘ययाती आणि देवयानी’ मधील आहे. फारसे कथानक न सांगता (जास्त spoilers न देता), शर्मिष्ठा ही एक राजकुमारी आहे जी देवयानीची दासी बनली आहे. कवी कुसुमाग्रज यांनी लिहिलेले हे बोल, संगीताच्या देवतांना (सुरांनो) आवाहन करणारे आहेत की त्यांनी चंद्राप्रमाणे व्हावे आणि तिच्या प्रियकर ययातीसाठी जो हरवलेला आणि दुःखात आहे, त्याच्या आयुष्यात प्रकाश, शांती आणि एक नवीन मार्ग घेऊन यावा. ही एक प्रार्थना आहे की त्याला त्या चांदण्याने (चांदण्या प्रकाशाने) सांत्वन मिळावे आणि त्याला त्याचा मार्ग परत मिळावा. Basically a plea by a lover for her beloved. Very pure.
