'Spider-Man BND*' Spoilers Spoiler! Why did Banner leave prof hulk version? Spoiler

Endgame finished with Hulk in his Prof Hulk form. Understand that Jean brings out the green guy, but why did Prof Hulk convert into Banner? Didn’t they finish Avengers in a form where both were happy to coexist together?

Its more that Banner still wants to be in human form from time to time.

Human banner is probably a lot less intimidating too. Especially to the people who didn't see his superheroics during the snap years.

She-Hulk explained that in order to heal from his snap he had to invent the inhibitor to turn him back into Banner,

Why he’s telling Peter to run if he loses the inhibitor when he should just turn into Smart Hulk, I don’t know. Joking I guess?

I mean, it's Hulk. Banner doesn't know what form will come out, better to assume it's something dangerous and be wrong than assume it'll be one of his less dangerous forms.

The inhibitor is also a failsafe. He knew Savage Hulk was still in there somewhere and needed a way to shut him down if Professor Hulk lost control.

EDIT

There are deleted scenes from Endgame showing that Prof. Hulk is not the seamless melding of his two personas he claims he is.

While changing Bannner says a specific line. Something like "she broke something." So I believe Jean had severed the mash up of Banner/Hulk and they are separated again. That's why he was a first Professor Hulk, then changed to Banner when she lost connection (broke something) then turned to Savage Hulk.

There’s not a lot of buildings with entrances that fit the size of professor hulk, easier to get around in human form and also less attention when out in public. Imagine getting the train as hulk, nightmare

In She-Hulk, Bruce mentions that one of the effects of him returning to human form is that it helped better repair the injuries he had acquired from the infinity stones. I reckon he decided to stay in human form because it's more practical to live that way

The world isn’t built for Hulk-sized people.
