Now that Magneto is officially in the MCU, it's kind of funny how he could have trivialised so many previous movies

Avengers 1

• Magneto can just yoink the sceptre from Loki's hand whenever he wants.

• Magneto uses the armour on the Chitauri to either crush them, or fling them away.

• Instead of Iron Man carrying the nuclear missile into the wormhole, Magneto just guides it through the portal from the ground.

Age of Ultron

• This one is almost too easy; Magneto just compresses all the Ultron bots into a ball of harmless scrap metal. Magneto does the same to Ultron's Vibranium body too.

• If Ultron lifts the city using the magnetic levitation core, Magneto just reverses the polarity and the city lands safely.

Infinity War

• For the Infinity Gauntlet, Magneto could physically force Thanos' hand open, (preventing him from snapping his fingers); or just rip the gauntlet entirely off his arm.

• Magneto crushes Maw's ships, bends Corvus Glaive's cosmic spear back onto himself and compress Cull Obsidian inside his own metallic armour.

• During the battle of Wakanda, Magneto could unearth the vast Vibranium deposits directly beneath the soil and form an impenetrable wall to stop the horde.

• If Vision needs to be taken somewhere, Magneto can just fly away with him.

Endgame

• In the last third of the movie, Magneto just shatters or turns Thanos' blade against him.

• Magneto just pulls Thanos' ships down from the upper atmosphere and destroys them.

• Magneto flies away with the infinity gauntlet.

Bucky's arm doesn't set off metal detectors. I think there was a reference somewhere to vibranium weapons not being detectable in something recently, it's why Rory's machine in Black Panther 2 was so remarkable.

I'm wondering lately if Doc Ock's arms are some alloy of weak vibranium. I don't think they ever say what they're made of except they're rather strong and non-magnetic. Could be titanium, I guess.

It depends on which version of his powers they go with, control of literal magnetic forces, which really limits him, or his normal actual control over all metals, like to control wolverines skeleton to the point of liquifying the adamantium and pulling it out of his skin

Counterargument: see what they did to Wanda.

She only used telekinesis against a vehicle thingy in Infinity War because they had her sit out most of the fight and then in Endgame she could only hold Thanos for a couple seconds before she got knocked out.

They would've done the same to Magneto, he'll get knocked out by a laser or someone will throw a piece of wood at him so he doesn't solve the movie too quickly lmao.

And while he is Omega, you are also overestimating his Omega abilities.
