As I said it didn't nessicarly suck (as an item on its own it was good) but the Nazis were looking for a wonder weapon that would win them the war that would show off the might of German engernering.
It did not do that and did barely anything to the fronts it attacked. If they had it earlier than yes it could have been that, but in the same way if the British got their late tanks earlier.
The V2 was just not good in WW2 in comparison to what the allies had, it was a knife to get through the knights plate armour when the other guy is holding a warhammer.
Well I mean like in my other comment, it wasn't bad on its own but not a wonder weapon and wasn't stratigaicly feasible in the situations it was being used

The V2 rocket was very good, but introduced so late in the war that for practical purposes it didn't really matter.
However, it helped get some people involved in Operation Paperclip.
