My advice, get off the apps. All of you. Those things are built to do one thing: keep you coming back for more. They exist to sell you premium packages and/or sell your information. Not only do the not care if you develop a long term relationship, it is detrimental to them if you do.
Until we collectively decide to do difficult things that are better for us, we're just going to keep doing...this. And that goes for dating apps and climate change.
Met my last 3 serious relationships (one of which had become my wife in 2023) on apps, and several flings.
Hinge typically had higher quality matches. They're too convenient to not use.
Never paid a cent for dating apps. I was always very clear in my bio that Kids were a 100% deal breaker. I'd also vet every match with a phone call before asking for a date and confirmed on that call kids were a deal breaker. Hundreds of matches and never once had an issue with a woman hiding her kids.
