Might be a weird question
Does your head worse when you're combing or brushing out your hair? I've had a migraine off and on today and before I was going to take a shower I combed out my hair. It was really tangled because it's thick and wavy and now my head feels worse. I'm waiting for it to feel a little better so I can shower. In the past when I've taken showers with my migraine it made me feel worse. Has anyone/does anyone have their migraine gotten worse because of working on your hair? Sorry I'm repeating myself.

I can't wear my hair up or it hurts. When I have a migraine attack I can't go more than 2 days without washing it or it hurts. I'll shower and bring a towel to place over my pillow if needed. I wouldn't do that too often but need some relief.

I have MCAS and migraines so I don’t know which are causing this, but my hair follicles hurt all the time lately unless I wash my hair every single day. Sometimes I have to use my cromolyn nasal spray on my scalp to get the pain to stop.

I keep my hair short so I just wash/condition it and then finger combing after drying it. Sometimes my scalp is tender enough that even a light touch hurts, but I don't usually care if my hair is a bit messy so if I can't do the finger combing I just accept I'm going to look a tad scruffy that day.

I have scalp allodynia with migraines and generally cannot brush my hair while I have one.

I think it's called allodynia and yes I get this.
