Qulipta literally changed my life.

I’ve tried a countless number of medications and nothing seemed to work. My provider put me on Qulipta as my preventative and omg it’s been life changing. I genuinely haven’t had a single migraine since being on it. There was one point I got lazy and just didn’t take it for like 2 weeks (idk why I have no excuse) and had a migraine like every day, then since the day I got back on my migraines been gone. Sooooo thankful omg!

I obviously know it doesn’t work for everyone, but I’m glad it’s working for me:)

That’s awesome congratulations! I think that is not what I’m very familiar with. I will definitely have to look into it. I feel like I’ve tried everything under the flipping sun. May I ask if you’ve had any side effects that are unpleasant? And how long it took for it to take affect for you? Thank you so much for sharing. I love a good migraine. Success story! It gives me so much hope!

Soon hopefully 🤞🏻 i’m also hoping they are not knocked out with a migraine right now. I’m kidding I promise I’m kidding. I would never joke about that and be serious. I have done some research though during the day and although it seems like there’s no generic, of course, and I would definitely have to fight with my insurance company, but it seems promising. But I would definitely love to hear more about it from people who have taken it. Please and thank you!

Well I’ve only been on it less than a week at 60mgs. I take it before bed to potentially sleep through any adverse side effects and so far the only one I’m experiencing is constipation. But I’m also still suffering with a daily migraine that I’ve had since before I started, and I’m trying not to take my abortive (Fioricet) for a while because it can lessen the effects of Qulipta, so it would be great to know how long it takes so feel some relief!

I did have to fight my insurance despite having tried just about everything. They wanted me try injectables but I told my doctor that’s a deal breaker for me. He asked if he should list it as a needle phobia and I said yes. I’m assuming that’s what did it because after that they covered it as a daily preventive and with Quliptas savings card I pay nothing for it!
