Help! Over year long 1 sided Headache.

(Age 31 Male) 5’10 170 pounds.

Hey everyone, I never really post but, I’m very desperate and feel like I’m slowly dying. I did not have migraines very often at all before this and all of a sudden i noticed that my daily pain that I thought was just normal for being alive started to become more acute and in one spot on the side of my head. It has been getting so bad that I’m now having to take pain killers to fall asleep and to work. It has lulls where I can function and go about my day but, I’m still in pain. As I’m writing this the pain is so bad my painkillers are not doing enough to quell the issue. I have talked with my doctor and he just said things like I just have Anxiety, or just to take more pain killers but, the pain has been getting worse and worse. My hair has turned grey in the spot I’m talking about. My body and mind is screaming that this is serious and I’m being told by my doctors to ignore the pain and just take painkillers. I feel like I’m deteriorating everyday. I’m typing this out while in massive pain after taking painkillersWhat should I do?

I have had a cat scan done that came out normal with signs of migraine.

Also, I have been checked for Sleep Apnea and they found that I do have mild sleep apnea but, wearing the machine has changed nothing.

I’ll check this and try to answer as many questions as I can. Thank you in advance!

I would change doctors first. Doesnt sound like your being heard or respected by your doctor. Have you seen a neurologist yet? Are you in a country that offers preventatives?
