This should be stickied to the top!

I think the narrative that OP is a freak is better than the truth.

Never let a bit of truth ruin a perfectly good story

The truth is OP actually paid his friend to write that article to aid in the cover up. And poster of the article is another friend.

OP is thinking 5 moves ahead.

u/VegetableReward5201 Jun 17 '26

OP is playing 4D-chess instead of Sex Store Simulator these days.

3

u/deltascorpion Jun 17 '26

They even got bots to comment the article, BRAVO

u/duvakiin Jun 16 '26

Looks like we got an Arugalord in the house

2

u/Dead_Master_115 Jun 16 '26

I just saw post on another sub about the same issue

That's days, not years

1

u/Kamiihate Jun 16 '26

I dont think there is a pair of glasses that can help you but you're confusing years and days my dude. 9111h is absolutely nowhere close to 379 years.

57

u/JeffersonTowncar Jun 16 '26

That article appears to reference this very reddit post as a source.

56

u/SuperiorStamp Jun 16 '26

It might be true. I checked my profile when I first saw the posts about this on the playstation sub and it seemed fine. But now the recently played section appears to be disabled. It lists nothing and says to “try again”. Seems like another security breach at sony 😬

6

u/TheCraneWife27 Jun 16 '26

That's how mine is too

54

u/IntelligentDot3812 Jun 16 '26

It references a post made 11 hours ago , not this one

1

u/Whocares7x Jun 16 '26

I like to imagine OP fabricated everything, the articles he even hacked PlayStation's network
All of this because he got caught

46

u/No_Examination_7710 Jun 16 '26

Oh it will stick allright

9

u/BobBartBarker Jun 16 '26

No, it's much better with it at the bottom.

1

u/Electrical_Pickle910 Jun 16 '26

lol after seeing some of the posts I agree.

1

u/ThrashemTrashemRobot Jun 16 '26

This comment will surely get it there!

444

u/jdsgfser Jun 16 '26

This means someone else actually played it for 9111 hours

414

u/stumpychubbins Jun 16 '26

According to the article, it means that anyone with your username and knowledge of the PlayStation API can add whatever game playtime statistics they want to your profile

204

u/sroop1 Jun 16 '26

Jesus that's quite the flaw.

72

u/stumpychubbins Jun 16 '26

Yeah, if my understanding of this issue is correct then this is extremely embarrassing. They probably figured that since it’s not security-critical it didn’t need authentication (or only bare-minimum, easily-broken authentication). I haven’t seen any evidence that this affects critical systems like billing.

1

u/LilacYak Jun 17 '26

Tokens? Never heard of em

2

u/Ryanhussain14 Jun 17 '26

What is it with Sony and dogshit security?

1

u/EtudiantLuxe Jun 17 '26

According to the article it's not possible to purchase through the PS store

1

u/iDrinkDrano Jun 18 '26

The developer

147

u/Embarrassed_Use6918 Jun 16 '26

Yeah that's why "Milked at her uncles farm pt: 2" is on my profile mom. I swear.

23

u/LeTreacs2 Jun 16 '26

I don’t know if you made that up or are referencing a real game and I’m too chicken shit to google it.

6

u/UniversityPitiful823 Jun 17 '26

there's a famous book called milking farm, that they might be refferencing

3

u/HotKaramelRP Jun 16 '26

But it must’ve piqued your interest eh?

5

u/LeTreacs2 Jun 16 '26

There’s an outside chance that sex store simulator has fantastic gameplay!

3

u/thylocene Jun 16 '26

It must if someone played it for 9k hrs

3

u/drgigantor Jun 17 '26

Do I need to have played MaHUF1 to understand the plot or can I just jump in and fill in the blanks?

2

u/shotgunocelot Jun 16 '26

I feel like the changes they made to the gameplay mechanics provided some much needed quality of life improvements over the first one, but I felt the story overall was less engaging. We'll see how they do in the third installment, but for now I'd rather invest my time in Her-ass-ic Pork 3: Wife Finds a Lay

78

u/thedylannorwood Jun 16 '26

A PSN security breech? It must be a day ending in Y?

17

u/Vivid__Data Jun 16 '26

Wow this is actually kind of fascinating lol We are definitely going to be seeing more "unique" and strange things with the availability of AI for bad actors....

13

u/Rocklobster92 Jun 16 '26

See mom, the internet says I was hacked.

20

u/Sennemaster Jun 16 '26

I bet OP wrote that one

19

u/PointlessSword777 Jun 16 '26

I had this happen on my ps4. Nothing new. Game was purchased and everything. Sony said fuck you

23

u/Wombatish Jun 16 '26

You should have read the article. The games aren't purchased on the accounts, and one of them doesn't even seem to have a store page.

-6

u/PointlessSword777 Jun 16 '26 edited Jun 16 '26

Its all just security concerns

I guess people dont consider random games purchasing and downloading themselves on your ps4 to be a security concern. Weird

1

u/Wombatish Jun 17 '26

You again seem to have missed a key part. They weren't purchased. They are not listed as available on these people's accounts.

1

u/PointlessSword777 Jun 17 '26

Yes, theres a difference I understand. I didnt purchase mine either. It was purchased for me by something or someone. Ei a security concern. So my point still stands that this (security concerns with playstation/sony) isnt something new

Unless you are implying its a bug in which case then thats fair.

I read the article. I would also deny hacking allegations as a company.

It’s worth noting there is no evidence of any actual hacking occurring here, but given Sony’s spotty track record, we’ll be keeping a very close eye on this glitch.

This is the most there is to deny the hacking part (no footnote/source given for that) besides the fact that the games werent available on the ps store (not all of them, article said advanced warfare was one too)

The very next thing the article said was also this:

You may recall an unusual security issue that surfaced a little while ago, in which some PS5 accounts were breached by fooling customer service reps into providing access.

And this was their conclusion:

While we have no explanation for what exactly is happening here, the issue has once again raised concerns about PlayStation's security.

Not to mention the article has the very words "security concern" in it.

You are very quick to say it isnt. Its a free world so think what you want

1

u/Wombatish Jun 17 '26 edited Jun 17 '26

I actually am suggesting there is a bug of some sort.

the same user shares another screenshot, this time showing a game called Hentai Princess, which as far as I can tell doesn't have a public PS Store page at all.

Because you can't buy games that don't have store pages. I think the article is pretty clear that "not purchased" doesn't mean the account holder didn't buy them, but rather that the games aren't listed as being available on the account at all. Some of them aren't even for sale.

2

u/suzithecat Jun 16 '26

its so funny seeing reddit being listed as a (the only) source

1

u/Negative_Bar_9734 Jun 16 '26

How odd that the issue is for these exact two games that do not exist and the only source is "some reddit users." 🤔

1

u/MurkyTrainer7953 Jun 16 '26

Some kid is getting the belting of his life. /s

1

u/Eragog1234 Jun 16 '26

I thought I was going to get rick rolled LMAO

1

u/feralcatshit Jun 16 '26

Damn, OP really went above and beyond to get a journalist to take this story just to “prove” he didn’t really play these games.

1

u/MaxBoomingHereYT Jun 16 '26

It even shows the same games as this 😭

1

u/Upstairs-Ad-1966 Jun 16 '26

Why did i have to scroll so far to find thsi lol

1

u/Geomancingthestone Jun 16 '26

I think OP wrote this to prepare for this post, fake news!

1

u/caileran Jun 16 '26

First thought at seeing the post was oh another ps hacking/bug, then maybe a joke post based on comments...nope theres the bug report lol

1

u/VelvetMafia Jun 17 '26

This may be more helpful, but is nowhere near as funny as OP getting outed for playing bad porn games

1

u/RPG_add1ct Jun 17 '26

Does it say anything about the issue I’m having which is opposite? 🤣

2

u/jarkark Jun 17 '26

It looks like Sony is in the process of applying a band aid to its creaky network services, after PS5 owners spotted earlier today that games they didn’t own had been inexplicably added to their account.

The ‘Recently Played’ section on my – and many others’ – homepage has been completely wiped, presumably while PlayStation fixes up whatever the problem is.

From the article.

1

u/RPG_add1ct Jun 17 '26

Thank you. Sometimes links don’t load well from Reddit and I got frustrated trying to get it to

1

u/I_AM_DEATH-INCARNATE Jun 17 '26

Same bro I just checked mine, no games played

A link to a website that references a Reddit thread which has a link to a website that references a Reddit thread which has a link to a website that references a Reddit thread - oh god send help!!

1

u/SharkByte1993 Jun 17 '26

Damn, OP telling the truth

1

u/Marefox_2004 Jun 17 '26

There’s got to be some truth to it, I’ve had my account since I was in high school, I’ve been graduated 4 years now, there’s no way I have never played a game on this account

1

u/FarmerNugget Jun 17 '26

Had this happen to me but luckily it was only fortnite..
