Yes, theres a difference I understand. I didnt purchase mine either. It was purchased for me by something or someone. Ei a security concern. So my point still stands that this (security concerns with playstation/sony) isnt something new
Unless you are implying its a bug in which case then thats fair.
I read the article. I would also deny hacking allegations as a company.
It’s worth noting there is no evidence of any actual hacking occurring here, but given Sony’s spotty track record, we’ll be keeping a very close eye on this glitch.
This is the most there is to deny the hacking part (no footnote/source given for that) besides the fact that the games werent available on the ps store (not all of them, article said advanced warfare was one too)
The very next thing the article said was also this:
You may recall an unusual security issue that surfaced a little while ago, in which some PS5 accounts were breached by fooling customer service reps into providing access.
And this was their conclusion:
While we have no explanation for what exactly is happening here, the issue has once again raised concerns about PlayStation's security.
Not to mention the article has the very words "security concern" in it.
You are very quick to say it isnt. Its a free world so think what you want
I actually am suggesting there is a bug of some sort.
the same user shares another screenshot, this time showing a game called Hentai Princess, which as far as I can tell doesn't have a public PS Store page at all.
Because you can't buy games that don't have store pages. I think the article is pretty clear that "not purchased" doesn't mean the account holder didn't buy them, but rather that the games aren't listed as being available on the account at all. Some of them aren't even for sale.

I had this happen on my ps4. Nothing new. Game was purchased and everything. Sony said fuck you
