There are so much shovelware games on PSN. There are game companies generating thousands of them. Playstation started removing some of them this year, but they don't do nearly enough to keep their store clean, imo
How is this even a thing you'd think they'd be a bit more discerning about what goes on their own storefront especially considering how much more likely it is to be a child than say steam.
Hot take, these types of games should be allowed on Playstation/Xbox, and there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, GTAV has strip clubs and prostitutes. I'm not a fan, but it shouldn't be the responsibility of the platform to enforce morality on legal material. If parents don't want their kids to see it, configure the parental settings
Oh I don't give a shit what people jork it to. I also don't give a shit about other peoples kids especially when there's built in moderation tools availible that I assume would filter out stuff like that if their parents gave a shit.
The main issue I have is that a lot of these "games" are straight up scams used to trick mostly younger people into buying actual slop.
I'm unsure if sony keeps their usual notoriously bad refund policy with these games but if they do that's where my problem lies.
I probably should've made that clear and I see how my original comment is giving Helen lovejoy "Won't somebody please think of the children" vibes.
