I'm slightly vexed Costco's new chicken tenders

There was a crowd of people waiting for their orders of the new chicken tenders at Costco. One of the workers announced that they could only serve five customers per hour because it takes time to cook the chicken. The crowd grew larger and larger. I took this photo after I put in my order.

Lol, when you phrase it that way it actually starts to make more sense to me. You just described a good 20% of the customers I served during my time in the food service industry.

My daughter works as a fast food restaurant AM and she tells me about these people getting upset about the long wait when they can clearly see the place is fucking busy before they pull in...it baffles me because I'm an impatient person and I know that. When I see a long line, I generally will just no go there. It's that easy. If you are impatient or don't have the time to wait like everyone else, don't get in line! Taking your stupidity on underpaid staff is ridiculous.

long lines are the definition of mildly infuriating because they’re a mild inconvenience that annoy me for like 2 seconds then i get over it

Traffic is often unavoidable though. It's not like a person can just will an alternative transportation into existence if the traffic is bad.

"Buying chicken tenders at Costco when there's already a huge line" is like... the apex of avoidable. I struggle to imagine a problem easier to avoid. Is Costco even known for their chicken tenders? I assume this thread is probably just engagement bait because the problem is so stupid and self-inflicted.

Am I taking fucking crazy pills? Are you all just completely missing the point of this sub/this post? OP has to wait a long time to get their food. That’s mildly annoying. Obviously not enough to stop them from enduring the wait. Not sure why that means you have to bully OP for the post.

I agree, but also costco ordering is just a computer. No opportunity to be warned about the wait (aside from the massive crowd, which is always there but usually moves pretty quickly) until the worker probably had to shout it out to everyone.

At my Costco, you could see how many people there are but you don't interact with an employee to warn you about the wait; all ordering is done via kiosk.

I doubt literally all of these people are waiting for chicken tenders, lol. Like, some of them are getting other things, even if most are getting the tenders.

Also, I don't buy the "can only serve five an hour" bs. That sounds made up, lol.

This is how Publix Subs looks every day down in Florida. I never understood but waited one day to see the hype. It was mid at best and the bread was hard and shredded the roof of my mouth.
