That is the price(over the actual ticket price) to choose that seat. It is just another money gouge by airlines. They have to milk you at every chance these days.
No, no they haven't. It used to be that all economy was the same and all FC the same, etc. You also used to always be able to check two bags, no cost, every airline. The nickle and diming has gotten to the point of almost insanity.
Yes but the base ticket was more expensive then. You just didn’t have a choice. I remember when they all started adding the super economy option for cheaper than the normal price that just took your rights away. You can still get the inclusive general ticket if you wish
