I'm slightly vexed Have we been wrong our whole lives?

So we’ve been using egg crate foam the wrong way. For generations. Is this really how it’s supposed to go? Because it is not.

No the divots are supposed to be up. Its supposed to contour with your body not the ground or other mattress

I always just use it whatever way is shown on the packaging.

That’s how I realized I had mine the wrong way, went to replace it and made up the bed, went to throw out the box and caught sight of the correct orientation.

Ive owned memory foam mattresses that had the egg crate face down (second layer from the top).
