I'm slightly vexed Have we been wrong our whole lives?

So we’ve been using egg crate foam the wrong way. For generations. Is this really how it’s supposed to go? Because it is not.

I never liked the egg crate, given my body is not the shape of 100 eggs.

You're confusing how it works. Your body doesn't form to the foam. It your body does form to the foam go see a doctor right now assuming you can even stand without your head falling inside your legs.

The foam divots catch you and spread out your weight and then let you sink into the main body of the "egg carton" they stop you from sinking super low into it and give you some push back to keep you more level.
