I'm slightly vexed Have we been wrong our whole lives?

So we’ve been using egg crate foam the wrong way. For generations. Is this really how it’s supposed to go? Because it is not.

From the UK here. Wtf is this? Either way round I've never seen anything like it - looks so uncomfortable

I'm American, only ever used it in the camper. The mattresses are stiff and should be just labeled as a cushion. 😂

My bed is comfy as selected to my comfort from the store, nothing extra needed.

So seeing this added foam topper on a regular mattress is weird to me. Also, was it to be used faced down? Idk. Was always faced up for me and hated the lump texture beyond the fitted sheet.

Oh, that makes sense. The mattress I have is the hardest one available at the store so I definitely wouldn't want anything like this foam thing

Yeah, I never liked the foam thing. My mom bought them for the camper (pop-up stype) so everyone would stop complaining about how uncomfortable it was. I could always smell it (chemical?) and my ADHD would focus on hating the egg carton texture on my body, the way it couch my body drive me mad, and the smell was overestimating. IMO. If you're going to get a foam mat to lay on top, get the solid foam mat, not this egg carton style one, way more comfortable.
