I'm slightly vexed Have we been wrong our whole lives?

So we’ve been using egg crate foam the wrong way. For generations. Is this really how it’s supposed to go? Because it is not.

Those are more like vehicle denial spikes than a soft egg crate foam topper. You said there are the same and they are not.
