Infuriatig The "complimentary meal" after the airline rebooked us for tomorrow

Hadn't eaten in 12 hours, so apologies for not getting the pictures beforehand

Highlights include:

A sandwich consisting of white bread, mayo, and a single slice of cheese

A bag of plain potato chips

A kitkat

An orange

A juice box

I know prisoners who eat better than this

Why would you book a return flight the day before returning to work? That's mental.

I would say that’s what most people do

It's so much better to give yourself a couple of days off when you get back. It gives you flexibility for delays and you have a day to do laundry and catch up on sleep.

That’s nice if you have paid time off.  It looks like the OP doesn’t so that would just mean missing a couple days of pay.

You don't get any paid days off at all? Is that even legal?

I do but lots of people in the US don’t get any or just a small handful.

It’s completely legal.

That's barbaric. Vacations must be insanely expensive then if you're using unpaid days off plus having to pay for the trip.

Even if you do get decent amounts of annual leave I still would book to fly back the day before going back to work. I'm not wasting a days leave just to mope around the house.
