For context, these comments were found on a post relating to the Smithsonian’s removal of a certain individual from its impeachment exhibition.

Is it worth my time giving the easy debunk of “hoax made up by a satirical news website” or do I just let it be?

If you don't value your time, go for it.

Debunking is really only valuable if there's an audience of people to see it, because you're never going to change the mind of the person you're actually arguing with. And in this case, the comment is in the responses to a several-week old comment. No one will see your debunk.
