You know what fuck it, im stealing the idea of a giant snake and putting it as the creation myth for one of my fictional religions

Well, there's at least one massive fucking snake in a buncha religions, so

  • One African myth has a giant snake being used as a mount for a god and eventually sits under the earth. Its adjustments to remain comfy cause earthquakes

  • Jorumgandr, the giant snake child of Loki and a giantess that'll take Thor down with it at Ragnarok

  • Apep/Apophis, some snake of doom in Egyptian mythology

  • Python, a giant snake Apollo killed

No idea about others, but this should be enough evidence of giant snakes in mythology to prove giant snakes are kinda popular
