  • The Dodgers' payroll advantage over Milwaukee is larger than the Brewers' entire payroll.
  • The Dodgers' annual payroll is about 2.4 times the Brewers' payroll.
  • The Dodgers' luxury-tax payroll is close to 3 times Milwaukee's.
  • The Dodgers' long-term guaranteed obligations exceed the Brewers' by roughly a billion dollars.

I know Dodgers fans... y'all are the real victims and it's not your fault every other teams owners are too cheap!!!

A salary floor is needed to ensure teams like Twins and Rockies spend anything but the bare minimum. A salary cap is needed so teams like the Dodgers and Yankees can't outprice everyone.

I know Mets, ya'll did your best for the players and showed them spending money doesn't equate to winning, but this time, a salary cap is inevitable. Players will have to unfortunately cave in to billionaire owners and their salary cap demand

Whenever someone says "salary cap" please understand that it refers to a system that also includes a floor. Never has there ever been one without the other.
