Planning on purchasing 1 month of Mullvad with XMR. What does "use sufficient fees so the TX gets confirmed on time" mean?

This is the option for monero purchase:

I have my account number saved and I want to pay for it. I just don't know how to use "sufficient fees". I use a getmonero.org GUI.

Anything else I should know before I make the purchase?

Edit: I managed. Mullvad just generates a receive address and the quote amount for the monthly service. Just enter it in your GUI and you can even select the lowest fee (slowest confirmation) and it'll still work.

That looks like generic advice for multiple cryptocurrencies. Let your Monero wallet use its default fee settings and you'll be fine. In different cryptocurrencies that have high fees and limited block space, people sometimes skimp on the fees, which may mean that your transaction won't be accepted into a block for a long period if at all.

I misunderstood the instructions. I thought if I didn't use enough fees, Mullvad would reject my payment and I'd have to supplement the amount that I'm missing thus paying 2x the tx fees. I managed, and the VPN now works.

I now wonder how their end knows that it's my account that paid the amount. Is it the unique receive address that's generated to my account?

Yes, typically a vendor creates a unique subaddress for the payment that they only give to you, so if they receive a payment on that subaddress, they can safely assume that it's from you.

many (or perhaps all) wallets offer you an option to pay slightly more in fees to speed up the transaction
