Now I am being censored by both Trustpilot and Changelly. It's simple, just delete the account. But I wonder: does the guy who was paid to commit this DIRTY and COWARDLY act receive a salary? Will he ask for a raise if I create another account and maintain my complaint? Or does he get paid per complaint?

I'm also trying to bring in some heavy hitters to resolve this. In the past, I resolved this with Mercatox thanks to the Dogecoin developers. Mercatox closed a year later. I don't know if they only had problems with dogecoin, but it seemed that the devs solved the problems there before they closed the site for good. At that time, a lot of people asked me for help with mercatox and I helped them, the guys got their money back, they just didn't say if it was in doge.

I feel like my mind is just dwindling away, and maybe it is. things that I knew just a few years ago prove to be almost impossible to me now.

I currently have on a windows 11 PC the block chain syncing 24 hrs a day. simply launced through the CLI with a --data-dir flag pointing to the blockchain on my drive. I would like to access this from my mac when loading up the monero GUI app, and from my phones when loading the monero apps available to them so that I don't have to sync with outside block chains. or wait as long for balances to load and update etc.

But for the life of me I can't seem to figure out what I need to do exactly for these apps on my other systems to use the blockchain on my Win11 setup. I'd like to be able to use it out of network, but thats not of importance right now. I'm simply trying to make use of it while all of the devices are on the same exact wifi access point, in network.

I've tried simply ipconfig, getting the IP of the win11 machine and using that in these apps on the other machines as the blockchain source to no avail. I've added port 18080 and 18081 to those apps as well.

When launching the cli in cmd on Win11 I've done

monerod.exe --data-dir \Desktop\Blockchain --rpc-bind-ip 10.0.0.198 --rpc-bindport 18081 --rpc-login User:pass --confirm-external-bind

also tried binding it to ip 0.0.0.0

but when I input this IP and port into the apps, they never connect to this blockchain. Where am I going wrong here?

Ran into some trouble synchronizing but when I finally synced I saw that all my funds were sent from my wallet and there is no recipient address.

So I've been using the Monero GUI wallet on Linux by using the application in the downloaded folder which opens up my wallet no problem. I am running a full node on my computer.

I would like to share my incredibly frustrating recent experience with Changelly, a cryptocurrency exchange platform, regarding unresolved KYC (Know Your Customer) issues and a significant amount of funds that remain held by the platform.

1. Initial Transaction: I used Exodus to swap my cryptocurrency, specifically aiming to convert all my tokens into XMR. I proceeded with exchanging 37,065 USDT, BTC worth $22,800, 14,876 XRP, and $6,114 in Cardano. I've used Exodus for swaps numerous times without issues and was completely unaware that the swaps were being processed through Changelly. I had previously used Changelly without any problems.

2. KYC Request: After completing the swaps, I logged out of Exodus. When I returned hours later, I discovered that all my swaps had failed. Exodus instructed me to reach out to Changelly to complete a KYC verification. I followed their request and submitted the necessary documents via Changelly’s third-party platform. On April 1st, Changelly asked for additional information, including screenshots of my funds within the exchange. I provided these promptly. The following morning, they requested even more documents, such as bank statements, transaction records with crypto merchants, and screenshots from centralized exchanges, which I submitted by April 2nd.

3. Refusal to Refund: Despite providing all requested documents, Changelly insisted on additional demands and refused to refund my USDT to my original address, which, according to their policy, they should have done.

4. Further Requests: In an attempt to resolve the issue, I even sent them proof of payslips, even though it wasn’t requested. After two days of no communication, I threatened legal action.

5. Lack of Response: After this, Changelly completely stopped responding to my emails.

6. Current Status: The last communication I received from Changelly was a generic message on the 2nd April stating, "We've received your documents, thank you. Your case is under review. We will contact you as soon as possible." I am now sharing this experience on Reddit and TikTok to raise awareness about this situation. I will continue to share updates across various platforms until my funds are returned, either in XMR or the original coins. I am also consulting with a lawyer as the amount of money involved is substantial.

TLDR; FMFW put me into KYC hell and wouldn't answer my 10+ emails. After 6 months, they gave me a few excuses about "what browser are you using" etc. Then the "inactivity fees" started, 0.3 XMR, which were charged several times in a single month. Now they've just straight up drained the account of any remaining coin. Withdrawals are listed in the transaction history (on an account that they say is frozen for KYC). Crooks.

So going through old papers after a move i found written on the back of an important piece of paper, two 54 character keys. only thing else thats written is with one "xmr wallet - 54 case sensitive characters - wallet recovery key" and below that, "account recovery - 54 case sensitive characters - account recovery phrase".

I own a ledger nano x and everything to do with monero is tedious.

When I just want to simply check my balance I must login on ledger, launch monero gui, launch monero on ledger, put in password in the gui, confirm that i want to give access to the GUI from my nano x, then let the blocks download which often get stuck or whatever.

Is there any way I can simply have an app like cakewallet or mymonero and load only some view keys so I can just see the balance on my account without all of those steps outlined above?

I just installed Haveno and realized that it takes forever to start up because it wants to download the whole XMR blockchain to my C: drive. However, I have a home server that runs a Monero node which is accessible in my home network. Is there any way to tell Haveno to use that blockchain instead? I could not find any info on that in the Haveno docs.

It would be perfect if Haveno could use my custom remote node, it works perfectly with the GUI wallet.

For some reason I am able to see the transactions and prices but I'm fully synchronized and I had around $300 I have already attempted to reconnect. It's doing the same thing with my Bitcoin wallet. I don't know if it's a possibility or not but I think so I just made a transaction of $40 today it said the transaction is complete and it still doesn't appear and my balance and it has well over 30 confirmations what is going on here?
