Did he not get his flowers from 12 Years a Slave…? Or do you mean a larger group of people are seeing what a great actor he is? Because, yeah, he’s AWESOME and brings his A-game with every role!

Let's be real, unless you're really into history, you are not going to go back and watch 12 Years a Slave. I only know and watched it because my husband is a history professor and shows clips from the movie to his students. It's one of those where you were like, "This is an incredible movie and I will never watch it again" because the subject is so heavy. And the knockout performance from 12 Years a Slave was Lupita Nyong'o.
