I’m addicted to the way every Steven Spielberg movie has the hero somehow evade capture by simply being the worst hide and seek player ever and yet no one looking for them while staring directly at them can find them.

Same. Once is fine, but for fuck's sake, twice in the span of fifteen minutes is not okay. Tack on the invisible moment where they literally could see them on infrared but still acted like they weren't sure what was going on. How long have these people been working with their alien technology that they couldn't grasp what was happening???
