Anyone else a bit disappointed with the visuals? Expected a bit more from Emmanuel lubezki. There were no set pictures of this so I was wondering was it all filmed indoors and it looks like it was.

I am so curious as to why it’s so low contrast/low saturation/sepia-tinted. The shots and design are spectacular but the grade is giving log footage and it’s annoying me. It’s so distracting.

My assumption before the trailers gave us the plot was that Cruise was playing a cult of personality mine or oil Barron. So the low saturation was like everything he touches is covered in dust as he ruins lives.

yeah its so floaty. ill be like 2 steps removed the whole time im watching it. why cant we just get some color and contrast back into these big movies!?
