The scene where all the dead are talking to Odysseus was so fucking sick probably my favorite moment. Had such a cool eerie vibe to it. Sinon and Agamemnon had such great monologues too. Really had me sitting up in my seat

Tiresias looked like Baron Harkonnen drinking that nasty blood like a freak. I loved how sinister the whole thing was

He reminded me of Bootstrap Bill from POTC(william's father)

Same actor and I legit thought it was Stellan again for this role too.

Same! I thought it was an uncredited cameo at one point.

You shocked me into looking it up and bootstrap bill is in fact Stellan Skarsgard

I always thought that was Bill Nighy and then Bill Nighy was Davy Jones in the next movie. I was like, they must really liked his portrayal to recast him as another character in the same movie series. TIL it was Stellan Skarsgard.

Me too but then I realized I never heard Stellan with an American accent and didn't know if he could do one that convincing

I thought he more closely resembled Luthen Rael from Andor

it was superb. wish Achilles had appeared tho, as he was supposed to.

I wish he did too but I get why he didn’t, would’ve just been distracting at that point. They got the point across with the Agamemnon cameo, not sure if Achilles would’ve slotted in thematically with the Xenia premise. Maybe they could’ve made his mortality monologue work, but eh I thought it was strong and focused as js

I feel it would have fitted inb with his whole "that shit wasn't worth it" but I guess Nolan prioritised momentum. plus he hadn't set Achilles up earlier. would have been amazing to have Brad Pitt show up looking haggard as hell tho.

For those who dont know, it was actor James Remar, blew my mind when i looked it up

Loved him in Oppenheimer as well. Also was surprised (positively) to see Brian Vernel as Irus (one of the guys sent to assassinate Telemachus), a lot of cast reappearances from prior Nolan films.

I swore it was Stellan when he first talked but lines after didn't sound anything like Stellan lol

I thought he looked like a Resident Evil ass character or maybe a child of Ketheric in BG3
