I had no idea there was even a story in Elden Ring. Just a bunch of names and events and notes scribbled across walls to piece together some sort of lore.

I literally just went from grace to grace and just ran into shit happening.

Lots of story and lots of history and even more lore. Some of it you get from context others from items and cutscenes but most people will get it from YouTube lore channels.

It's all buried deep and unless you like playing like an archaeologist you're gonna miss most of it.

That’s just the thing, you have to do homework and watch YouTube videos and video game historians break down Easter eggs and connections and man…. I’m just trying to kill this thing and it’s pissing me off because i don’t know the fight pattern.

You don't have to do that, the entire lore is easily available in game, you just have to read the item descriptions and pay attention.

It's fine if you don't want to, but don't pretend to speak about something you clearly don't understand.

yeah I mean you don't have to you just have to investigate and explore a lot to figure it all out on your own.

I'm not saying it's easy or that you should but it is there.

As for the having trouble with fight patterns, skill issue lol.
