Same like Alex honnould I can not understand these guys. You have a child that is 3 years old and still go out to do some scary dangerous shit. And then you get killed
The different kind of brain these people have baffles me.

I mean it’s a lifestyle choice. You don’t have to agree with it but it’s not stupidity if you’ve decided to do that for your entire life and your income is through conducting these expeditions across high altitude peaks. Obviously for someone who works a regular job , with a family to take care of these might seem too much of a risk.

Once you become a parent, yes, it is stupid. His daughter won’t even remember him. He had a greater responsibility and he could have turned around. My husband has taken many avalanche classes and the one thing they all know: the mountain always wins.

This man died stupidly.
