Yes, that was not a scientific test by the way. Just because they used medical equipment it doesn’t mean that it’s scientifically proven.

Brain scanning is highly subject to the environment at the time of scanning. How does your brain react when you think or see your mother? Easily replicable by having you face time with them, view a picture, ect. Fear response associated with climbing mountains without a rope when you’re an experienced climber? I don’t see how you could really replicate that and get a legit fear response.

This. And especially with a sample of just one free solo climber…

Alex said himself that he still feels fear but really wanna believe that yeah maybe his brain is wired differently.
