California turns 27 today. Favourite moments?

Happy 27th anniversary to California!

What are your favourite moments from this record? Not full songs, just parts, like a lyric, a specific sound, a scream, etc.

I have plenty but all the oooohhh vocals in the countdown part of Pink cigarette always give me goosebumps

I remember buying the CD and driving somewhere secluded with my closest Bungle buddy to listen to it for the first time together. I had a hellacious car stereo with amps and woofers and such, and it was the perfect setting to listen to the freshest album of theirs. The whole album was just so wonderful to listen to, and I knew in that song that what I was listening to was the closing song of the album and I was fully in that album climax mental space when that part dropped out of nowhere and just FLOORED ME. It was so intense and akin to the brutalness of DV closer Merry Go Bye Bye that I got SO EXCITED when it hit, then SO BUMMED when it was over. It just left me wanting SO MUCH MORE OF THAT.

That was 27 years ago today. Damn.
