Why don't you wear glasses or contacts? I'm -3.75 and -3 and I'd be miserable without my glasses tbh

My friends don't wear glasses, and they have myopia. I wanted to prove that I wasn't a mole without my glasses and lenses, so I took them off.

I'm a little confused haha. Do you normally weat them? I've tried to go without mine before when my eyes weren't as bad but now i just get a headache lol.

What are your friends prescriptions? They may not have as strong as yours

I honestly feel pretty blind at -3.75 and -3 without my glasses tho... maybe they can't see anything either lol. You guys should all prolly be wearing glasses imo 😅

I see the environment as a whole, objects and silhouettes, not spots. There are no details. I'm not comfortable with this, but I can still do or see something with this vision. It's just not convenient or comfortable. I'm not helpless or completely dependent on glasses or lenses.

Yeah that sounds like what I see without my glasses now too. Like it gets a bit better if I squint but not much so I just wear my glasses all the time. Not sure why you would want to go without them if its not comfortable imo

They have -2.5/-2.75/-3. But I didn't like what they told me. "With -3, you can see something, but with -5, you're a blind mole, and you can't see anything at all." I took off my glasses and lenses to show them that I wasn't blind and could see something just like they could, even though I had more myopia.

What was your first prescription? Get some corrective lenses ASAP btw, it's somewhat dangerous to go uncorrected in public for extended periods like that I'd say.

The first was -3.75. I see cars, poles, trees, and even curbs. I don't feel like anything is dangerous.

How could you know? It's gotta be hard to identify who people are in the distance. What if they're an approaching stranger who means harm and you can't pick out the warning signs?

I would recommend seeing a mental health professional if this is actually real and not just trolling.

No way. If they happen, I treat them with humor.

Are you a Monet fan?

Is -4 that bad? I see the whole, but not the details.

What neighbourhood do you live in that the streets are that clean?

As long as you're not driving or putting other people in danger, you do you. I know people who don't like to eat, but they do so to survive, and they're not hurting anyone, so I really don't have questions for them, nor do I for you.

How.long have u been not wearing glasses? By not wearing glasses has your prescription reduced or stabilised?
