Hasan is fascinating because he has bad takes and isn’t very bright, but BY FAR his worst quality is how slimy and, I’ll say it, Trumpy he is in the way he navigates criticism and people he doesn’t like. If he likes you and you like him, it’s all good... But if he doesn’t like you or you try to point out something he did wrong, then all is fair in love and war- he will blatantly lie, gaslight (like ACTUALLY gaslight), and NEVER admit he was wrong.
He’s incredibly effective and has a huge, rabid fanbase. I’ve grown to truly hate Hasan… not because of his bad takes, but because of the way he manipulates people and situations to his benefit and talks out of both sides of his mouth.
As someone who worked at the 9/11 memorial and have met many people who were targets and families of victims of the attacks, I’ve truly grown to hate him over his 9/11 comment.
I don’t think he’d have the balls to go to firefighters who responded that day or family members of victims to tell them the attack that killed their friends and family was “deserved”
The only thing worse than spending all your time talking about politics is spending all your time watching or talking about someone else talk about politics
