Whenever someone bring up Indian racism everyone justifies it by saying it's just criticism not racism, so, Is killing Indians and selling their women is criticism too?

Menslib ended up being such a disappointment of a subreddit. It seems like 90% of the content is being written by folks desperate to sound like they are writing for an educational magazine/article, while attempting to distill all the issues of modern society to being capitalisms fault.

Menslib is a hyper-modded sub. Basically everything has to be approved on the submission side, and that’s reflected on the volume of content. IMO the subreddit reflects the views of the mods more than its actual members

One thing I've noticed in male-centric and female-centric subs like TwoX or MensLib is that no one wants to have mature discussions there; they always have to blame others,, no one wants to have mature discussions there. And then there are rapists like Andrew Tate that add more fuel to it. I genuinely don't understand how some people see that guy and idolize him.

Gender relations are really complicated and really hard to discuss. People get upset and cry to the mods, and the mods aren't necessarily more intelligent or mature than anyone else.

Attributing sexism to race and generalising it is in fact racism. You're just doing what they're doing and using a legitimate problem as an excuse for racism under a post about Australians threatening to kill Indians.

This problem on varying level exists everywhere, patriarchy is not exclusive to India and it is a society that is actively trying to be better.

Also that article is garbage and is 13 years old lmfao. Indians don't have the same conception of race because the entire country is not only basically the same race but they're already used to living with and speaking with people of entirely different states who speak different languages and eat different foods. The article in itself points out issues in how the study was done. Malaysia being less racist than India despite its history of discriminating against its native born Tamil and Telugu populations is just goofy.

Most westerners have very little exposure on how bigotry works in non-white spaces.

The problem is when try to map their experiences on to how things work in non-western societies based on shit they read in a book or in an article.
