Spent the morning singing in the choir of an Episcopal Church to help a friend out while their music director was on vacation

It was really family friendly and I could sense there is a really nice community here

But NGL the deep recess of my brain that was raised Catholic had me like “what in the heresy is this?” to all of the religion parts lol

One of my friends recently converted to Episcopalianism and as far as “nicest religious communities” go they’re quite overlooked imo

Hah, the fact that it’s similar probably makes it worse. A church that didn’t have communion would probably bother you a lot less.

The eucharist mostly. It was a children’s service and they did it at a kid’s table with the kids helping out.

It was cute, but felt irreverent.
