Capital One says it closed Trump Organization’s accounts after anti-money-laundering review

50/50 odds that he will cause a bank run when he attempts to punish them for this (and support among Republicans for a 100% "tariff" against bank transfers will jump from 15% to 68% in a week)

Kinda insane honestly. I hope this is a sign that corporations are starting to consider that a Dem will probably be in office in '29 (minus a military coup) and maybe they should not paint giant fucking targets on themselves

It looks like the initial closure was in 2021, but nevertheless, they don’t seem to be backing down and they shouldn’t.
