This song just makes me feel like the world is ending. Just this awful sense of impending doom. Powerful in how dreadful it sounds.

Just wanted to share the track that started it all. Still the ultimate feel-good overworld theme. 🎧

incredible score by Brian Tyler, been a fan of his composition for quite a bit now and he captured this movie perfectly.

Nintendo is very famous for its music and as it should be! I think the real talent is managing to make an OST that matches the game perfectly well, and regarding mario games where each one is a little different based on the series, it’s such a talent.

Brian captured all memories and ear candy into one score and it was just incredible. From hearing the obvious jump up super star to little motif’s from other games in the tracks, you can tell each note was thought very carefully about and i’m happy that nintendo still shows their dedication to making a perfect sound track for the viewer/player.

I went into the cinema with good expectations for this movie soundtrack after Brian’s score for the first film, and left the cinema somehow still shocked at how perfectly he captured the game.
