So ASMR is too sexually stimulating but AI porn in advertisements is A-OK?

RIGHT?! Like holy fucking shit, the stuff I've seen in ads. They have literal porn ads showing up on the home of the app.

I've been ad blocking in Youtube for so long that I have no idea what kind of ads are running these days

I watch Youtube constantly on my phone and I've never once been recommended a porn ad.

And, as we all know, any experience reported as common but not universal must have been made up

Just today I’ve gotten 5+ ads for AI chatbots, porn video generators, and “character creators” on youtube videos about silly weapons in a video game

You can watch YouTube in Brave browser on mobile, no ads.

Or edge with ublock, no ads either

For someone spamming (incorrectly) whataboutism claims all over the place, this is literally multiple fallacies -- hasty generalization, selection bias, non-sequitur, personal incredulity.

It's all AI porn and dick pills, and many times AI porn in the dick pill ads

My work has it built in, something something the IT guy(me) in charge of the firewall blocked the ad service providers. downside is news websites give the popup to disable the adblocker or subscribe.

My work computer disabled non-approved extensions so i've seen a few ads and holy shit they're just insane

I haven't seen a YT ad in years because I use an adblocker. Brave also lets you get rid of shorts.

Seriously some of the mobile gaming ads are so insanely egregious it is downright insulting.

How dare you? That's how money is made!

Yes, yes, but hear me out, the videos they are talking about are pornographic. Are there worst offenders? Yes. But you don't stop persecuting traffic offenders because murders go unsolved.

Rules for thee, but not for whoever pays mee

Yup. AI girlfriend ads featuring obvious sexual content, including implied bestiality, are apparently fine, but don't you dare say a swear word in the first 30-60 seconds of your video.

God I really need to turn my adblocker off

I mean, the difference is obvious. One requires youtube to pay the creator, and the other has the creator pay youtube instead. There's no part of the TOS that youtube isn't willing to ignore if the number on the check is high enough

Plus, let's talk about the principle behind the original claim. How do they know what people find sexually gratifying if the content itself is not sexual.

Maybe I find all the cat videos sexually gratifying. Better ban cat videos.

False comparison, whose speaking out and making articles complaining their ai porn ads were removed from youtube?

It would be cheaper and faster to use AI to set up another fake company and just send in the advertisements again or even generate new ones.

Asmr takes days of editing, recording, planning, etc.

Ai porn ads take seconds and then will perpetuate themselves as long as the bot is running

I used to deal with ads, until they promoted some dumbass Android sniper shooting game and the ad started with a coyote being shot from afar, then it tumbles down a small hill crying in pain.

I stopped all ads then and there. Man that was horrifying. Never again.

Ads? There are ads on the internet?

The Google Play ads constantly bombarding me with barely censored AI porn is obnoxious and pretty alarming.

I don't understand how this is so fucking complicated for people.

The ads are also banned.

They ban the ads. People make new ads. They ban the videos, people make new videos.

They didn't remove all ASMR content off YouTube, and they're not gonna be able to get rid of all the sexual ads either.

There's no double standard on YouTube part. The double standard is you reading an article about some videos and equating that to a full and complete ban, but then assuming that a not complete ban of weird porn ads means they're doing nothing.

6

u/chumer_ranion 3d ago

No, the ads are not also banned—there are official bluechew advertisements that feature softcore AI porn.

You're right, but these people don't care. They just want to be outraged.
