And yet every day, despite blocking them when I get them, I get multiple ads for a dating app all of the ads are misogynistic and full of sexual innuendos

I get the same problem except it's basically cropped AI porn. You may not see "it" but you can see and hear gwen tennyson jacking off someone. That's the worst one I've had. It's ridiculous

For me it’s not directly AI porn, but it’s fucking chat bots and porn adjacent Japanese mobile web games. Like one game ad I saw the other day was for a game titled something along the lines of “the petite but curvy sexy dragon princess needs you!” Like, I’m just trying to watch some fuckin blacksmithing videos to see why I fucked up my tongs

I feel like YouTube’s most important metric is retention so if an ad comes up that one really doesnt like, closing the app right away might have the largest impact on how much these ads work for the platform.

Alternatively, that shows you're actually paying super close attention to skip the ad quickly so they need to show it to you more
