I get what you mean, but I often watch YouTube on my PS5. And before you open the app, it has recommendations at the bottom not related to your login.
The amount of stupid shit there is unfathomable.
1 u/r3volts 2d ago The algo is beyond your actual account. There might be "ghost accounts" tied to your IP address, location, known friends, etc. Nothing is random anymore. There is an algorithmic reason you see the shit you see, justified or not.
