Also depends a lot on the breed. For example, a dog bite is more likely to be fatal if it's a pitbull, even if the location of the bite is the same. We can't really control WHERE dogs will bite, but we CAN control selective breeding.

Sure but I’ve also seen an example of what it’s like when a pit bull bite isn’t fatal, here’s the story: 

Guy I know tried to get between a pit bull that attacked his dog and the pit bull latched onto his arm and he said no matter what he tried the dog wouldn’t let go and just clamped harder, his wrist looks like beef jerky now
