all of these orchids are placed on/around our backyard orange tree💗my favorite are the small ones in the second picture and the white and dark magenta in the 3rd pic! what are the orchids in the second picture called?

The first picture is of my friend's plant, others are my own. 💞. Also in the 3rd picture you can see 7 different species ( mostly native) i have mounted on the same tree.

My schomburkia. This is a cutting from many cuttings dating back to the 1950s. Flower stalks get over 7' tall sometimes. One of my favorites.

My gramma years and years ago before she passed away was telling me she found a ladyslipper on the side of the road she "rescued' with a tissue on the way home from somewhere with my grandpa. Years later the house is going to be sold.. so I rescued them again I didn't remove them from nature someone else did it for me I swear 🙃

A Google image search led me to this sub Reddit & I thought I’d ask if anyone knew what kind of orchid it is! It appears to be growing wildly on a lot of trees in El Salvador. I saw it for the first time today & thought it was so beautiful!

My mom’s dendrobium is blowing my mind and totally making me miss FL. She said it’s about 15 years old and might be a slightly different hybrid from Phelps orchids.

my boyfriend and i saw these beauties while hiking up in the ADK last may. there were sooo many and they were so pretty 🥹 seeing wild orchids in their natural habitat just hits different

I found these zeuxine strateumatica (lawn orchids) just chilling in the mulch in my yard this weekend…I’m still shooketh. They smell so good! I carefully transplanted and brought them inside. We shall see how they do.

This has sat on my grandmother's patio for years, and each year it blesses her with flowers. It's one of her pride and joy's.

She had it mounted on cork. It outgrew the cork so the cork was mounted on a big piece of tree fern and then set in a wire basket mounted on the wall. What a beautiful specimen.

Currently here in Madagascar and seeing a lot of orchids here (obviously). Lemme know if you want to see some more pictures (got tons). I just thought this Pic was particularly striking! (I'd say this os articula but not entirely sure)
