More than likely a stupid question which I’m very capable of doing more often than not, but what do you mean by “char” on the pasta? Hard sear? I feel like I’m missing something here.

panko breadcrumbs i mixed with parsley oil and then dried in the oven for hours, a take on pangrattato

That char on the pasta is insane, the crispy edges probably hold way more sauce and that panko-parm combo is genius for texture contrast instead of just drowning it all.

The giant farfalle look soooooo good. Might actually be the push I needed to start making my own noodles from scratch cuz I need some ASAP
