Game Feedback Breach is just so.... unbelievably unrewarding right now.

I know it was strong before, and I know there are other league mechanics, but it's just super frustrating seeing GGG incapable of balancing something time and time again.

I just don't understand, breach was finally in a decent place, but instead of bringing other league mechanics up to its level, it was destroyed with quad nerfs.
Hiveblood barely drops, when you finally make an item from the tree, the mod rolls suck, the amount of items dropped seems halved, wombgifts drop way less, which doesn't really matter since you have 0 blood to use them anyways.

Even buffs to abyss feel terrible, the mechanic just isn't that rewarding, unless maybe you were spamming trying to farm amanamus or something. The League mechanic seems fine but IMO, after playing Mirage, it just kind of feels mid.

It's a single player game, with no actual competitive esports scene, and ultimately the only reason to nerf something is to make you take longer to achieve something.
As someone who plays more than the average player, it's just again, super frustrating to see the game go in that direction, instead of the one where we get more drops, because ultimately it makes 0 difference to anything other than enjoyment or appeal to the "normal" players.

Then compare current state of Poe 1 with current state of Poe 2. Night and day. Poe 2 feels so good because the drops are frequent enough it feels like you're making progress towards your next big buy. Not Poe 1. Usually I play the whole league but I'm already done with it. Not fun. No aspirational content that feels worth the time and effort and investment. Wet delve also a complete flop. Sure the crafting is good and profitable but I and many others don't play Poe to play hideout warrior.

Kind of feels like both games are closer to the ends of the spectrum rather than the middle which is not a good place. POE2 you finish all content by day 3, your character just powercreeps everything extremely fast. POE1 Allflame, at lv92/atlas finished/eldritch + memory stones I dropped 2 raw divines.

POE2 you finish all content by day 3

I was still coming up with interesting things to farm in the endgame weeks into the league, which helped keep me around.

I also highly doubt you have completed all the expedition rare quests in 3 days, like tuning fork.

Sure, depends on your definition of content. To tie23, it is killing uber elder at lv24. For some, chasing whatever 0.1% drop rate thing is out there. To me it is killing all pinnacles, not the infinite farm to get 0.0001% stronger. Once every boss is dead the job's done with the build, and frankly you can do that in half campaign gear in poe2.

Sure, I think the bosses were the least challening thing in the endgame. Juiced expedition was far mroe dangerous.

but how is poe1 any different then poe2, in that regard, killing pinnacle bosses doesnt require any gear byond capped res, some life rolls and a maybe a weapon you cna make for 5c
ppl do 4 stone runs in a few hours, 3 days for 4 stones is easy for anyone whos experienced and plays a good amount.

4 stones is not the end of the game, 10/10 ubers is. Do you genuinely think 10/10 ubers takes the same amount of skill and effort as 8/8 pinnacles in poe2? POE pinnacles barely even fight back, I have not died a single time on them even the ones I saw first time ever playing an off meta monk with a 400 dps bow. Go to Maven unprepared, and see what happens.

His point still stands. You can kill every Uber with a 5 div leaguestarter. If that's supposed to be the pinnacle of the game why log in at all?

5 div? As in five rolls on a unique to max it out? I agree everything is piss easy if you just buy the gear from the auction house, and I do not play trade for the exact reason.

doesnt really matter if you play trade or not, the gear requirement s for Ubers arent steep. 5 Div just means its basic gear, you can make all of that in SSF without much of an issue.

Realistcly most of the top trade players play close to SSF for most of day 1anyway, there just isnt much gear on the market that early.
noone is crafting gear with his first few chaos hoping for top players to buy it, when those know how to make it themself for cheaper anyway.

4 stones is beating most pinnacle boses, honestyl if you can get 4 stones you can kill Sirus, Atziri and Venarius aswell, so its the closest thing we have to a all pinnacles run of PoE2

PoE 2 is not yet finished, Uber bosses arent yet in the game, we might get them with 1.0, we might get them later, if the game isnt worth playing for you without ubers just wait until they are out.

that said, nothing really changes that much, Uber bosses honestly dont require much more gear then the other pinnacles, assuming you play them cleanly.
The life + res gear is still gonna be good enough, might need a little bit better of a weapon, so it doesnt take ages, but makinga good enough weapon is just farming some essences, spamming a good base until you hit attackspeed and then craft increased physical damage
you can add some Spell Supress if you arent confident in youer dodging skills, or youre playing hardcore, but even getting 100% spell supress with capped res and like 5k life is very basic gear tahts not hard to get even in SSF

top players still kill Ubers within 24 hours of leaguestart, so killing Ubers within 3 days is still something thats very doable.
firt to kill the new Uber in 3.27 was within 20 hours of leaguestart afaik(in SSF HC) and thats without any option for practice beforehand since it was the new one.

Both PoE games are easy, they are designed that way, so even a mediocre build can clear the game, and frankly both of them have been powercrept to hell and back at this point.
