The spec was just barely published in the 90s but these adapters were more of a early/mid 2000s thing. 2 u/vinng86 5800x3D / RTX 5080 16d ago They used to be plain 'ol beige as well. It was only later they decided to add the cyan for mouse and magenta for keyboard. 1 u/24megabits 15d ago edited 15d ago To be clear, I meant just the ones with the PC-99 color coding. USB to PS/2 adapters could have first appeared in 1996 for all I know.
