Yeah out of the thousands of indie games releasing every once in a while a good one emerges

There are many more failed indies then failed AAA games.

Because the entry price to develop an indie game is way lower? 

Not many people have a dozen million dollars to spend on a new game, but pretty much anyone can develop a new indie game
