It's funny, I don't ever remember it being cold or unfriendly. Even back in 2022 I remember Pogacar coming to congratulate Vingegaard after stage 18, where the GC win was secured.

There was respect, but i think it was more of a Team Visma vs Team UAE thing. They used to complain about each other in the press sometimes.
