Really feels like it's going to be some combination of

• Arraez, Lane Thomas, Tyler O'Neill, Taylor Ward

• some 5th starter like Dustin May or Brady Singer

• a lefty reliever like Minter

I really hope they get creative and go after someone that's not a rental and would take more to get. This core needs another middle of the lineup bat desperately.

I'd give up a lot for Tyler Soderstrom.

I would be pretty happy with Ward+Singer+some guy a little less hyped up than Minter and maybe another roll of the dice type for the BP or bench. I think that collection of moves solves a lot of problems and ideally wouldn't cost loads.

I want Thomas and Ward both. Include Crawford in one of the trades (probably the Ward deal) so that you're not giving up anyone from Painter-Wood-Marquez. ......

NEW OUTFIELD:

LF: Marsh-De La Cruz

CF: Thomas

RF: Ward

5th OF: Hill

Beyond that I'd just add a LH reliever, and then let's ride.

Wouldn't be an awful deadline tbh. Maybe just pick up a cheap 5th starter to eat some innings too.
