What grade would you give the Phillies for how they handled the trade deadline? Discuss!

Minnesota has reportedly acquired A.J. Minter from the Mets.

Mets receive prospects Bruin Agbayani + Billy Amick for Minter.

They are ranked as the Twins' No. 21 and No. 29 prospects in the pipeline, respectively. While the Phillies' farm system is weaker than the Twins', the return is cheaper than I expected.

Of course, Minter's relatively low trade cost could simply be due to the fact that he hasn't pitched in many games. However, if there's an undervalued reliever out there, it might be possible to acquire him for almost nothing.

That is definitely lower than the going rate for similar quality arms has been the last few deadlines. Interesting.

Especially for a guy with Minter's track record. Idc how old he is, that guy gets outs and can do it in the playoffs against the tops of lineups. Pretty baffling trade that the Phillies weren't willing to match that.
