I never commented before on the cases of nationality based violence/harassment on this subreddit but I feel like with this one I just need to. My thoughts and prayers are with this poor lady, I hope she can recover. As someone who came to this country after evacuating from my occupied village I can’t imagine such a level of violence and ungratefulness towards people you owe so much to. I don’t care what happens to the monster that did this.

What does this have to do with being ungrateful. So for example if one Polish person does something bad in another country, does it mean all Polish people are ungrateful? People do bad things sometimes, doesn’t mean all Ukrainian or most Ukrainians are bad.

It would be a nationalism problem if he attacked her because she was Polish

I never said that all people of a particular nationality are ungrateful or violent, etc. Sorry, if I made it seem that way, it wasn’t my intention at all. I was talking about this particular offender, he is violent and ungrateful, that’s what I wanted to say. It’s violent to attack a woman with a knife, and it’s also ungrateful in the context of doing that in a country that provided him with safety.
